Audit Committee

  • Jackie Brunson, Skagit County Treasurer

The Audit Committee shall consist of not less than 3 and not more than 5 members of the Association appointed by the President. In no case may current members of the Board of Trustees comprise a majority of the members of the Audit Committee. Executive Officers (other than the Secretary/Treasurer) are not eligible to serve on the Audit Committee, including the President who shall not serve as an ex-officio member. The WACO Secretary/Treasurer serves as Chair of the committee.


In addition to other duties tasked by the President or Board of Trustees, the Audit Committee is charged with the following duties:

  • Annually reviewing the financial condition, financial activities and financial controls of the Association;
  • Completing its written conclusions by the 1st day of June; and
  • Meeting quarterly before the board meetings.
