Washington Association of County Officials understands that counties are facing budgetary cuts. We are looking forward to providing our members and attendees the same quality annual conference at a discounted registration price, a 41% decrease to be exact!  

Our Education Committee worked hard to develop education and training opportunities that better equip our members for their official duties. Educational topics include: Elected County Officials Ethics, Lessons Thus Far: COVID-19 Response, and Interacting with your Commissioners & Advocating for Your Office and Staff.  

Our draft agenda still allows plenty of networking and social opportunities. Join us for special events like the President’s Reception, the Scholarship Auction and The Awards Ceremony. WACO staff will work hard to make sure these events are innovative and exciting.  

WACO’s hopes were to have a safe in-person conference at the Davenport Hotel in Spokane, however, due to the growing concerns regarding COVID-19 WACO is confident that converting the conference to a virtual option is not only the safer option, but also the guaranteed option.  

We are so thankful to our partners to provide members two vendor fair opportunities, as well as the ability to network with our sponsors and vendors prior to the conference using our online “Exhibit Hall”.
